Reduced, Reused, Recycled
Here I sit, shaded by greenery, comforted by fluffy, white and delicate carpet. Around me there's music and warmth, and joyful voices that make a melody in my head. I smell scents of fresh pine, cinnamon candles and sugar filled cookies. The home is welcoming to Christmas, and I'm just one of those little things that people like to have for this kind of celebration.
I can't walk or talk, people just stare at me, and sometimes they give me this odd sort of look like they can't resist me, and that gives me the chills. I would consider my self beautiful looking, like I came in a perfect package, but no one ever tells me so, nor do they care, they just want to know what I'm like on the inside.
Sometimes, my life can be pretty unusual though, like when I am abused and thrown into the "Reuse" box until next time someone wants me again: it could take a couple of days, or it could be a year, maybe longer. I never stay in one place for to long though, I'm moved around from time to time. Like when other celebrations come around and I'm used to be placed in someone elses home. One time, I had to stay in the attic of a smokey home, I swear my color was wearing off then. Other times, I'm actually treated as a true guest, like when I first visited the White House. The first lady feld me up into a square and placed me on a wooden shelf with others when she didn't need me, and that was the very best experience of my life.
But now my life is as boring as heck. I'm placed in the old retirement home with other
house-once-held items and sit depressed thinking of my old life. My color's faded, my ends are torn and split and I'm not worthy anymore. Sometimes I wonder why this place is so full of junk, and what the word "Dump" means on the sign hung on barbedwire fence. I am now at my old age and close to being ready to go. I wish my last intakers would have treated me better and put me to recycle instead, but I had no say.
Thank you for listening to the story of my life,
Sincerely,
Wrapping Paper.

Winter Scene.
Winter Scene.
It smells like cinnamon and pine tree. It feels warm and cozy, comfy and like home. It isn't home though, it's somewhere not so far from where I live. Me and my family are staying at a cabin up in Big White for the Christmas holidays and in my opinion, it's the best way too spend the weeks, in a cabin, on a ski mountain, with the family. It's an amazing place to be, and I love it up here. The windows are frosty and you can barely see the glistening whiteness of the snow outside on the hill. The trees tower over the buildings and people swiftly fly by our cabin dow the slope on their skiis and boards. The kitchen is baking the delicious smells that fill every room in the two floor rental. Grandmother and mom are standing and talking about new things that have happened this year while taking fresh cookies out of the oven. The scent was grandmas Cristmas Pepermint Chocolate Chip, mmm, my favourite. As I walk to the couch I hear my mom and grandma preparing for the lovely Christmas dinner, boy were we going to have a feast tonight. Every year grandma comes to see us for Christmas, and every Christmas dinner, she fills the long table with food. Turkey, cranberries, potatoes, ham, gravy, cooked veggies, homemade bread and tons more of delicious food. My grandpa, uncle, dad, brother, sister and I all sit down in the decorated living room to watch the Christmas specials on the wide screen T.V. The room was filled with Christmas decorations and candles, warm blankets and sparkling lights, but what sticks out the most, is that beautiful evergreen colored pine tree that covers a blank corner in the room. It is treasured with memories that came even when I was first born.

This Life of Mine.
This Life of Mine.
Everyday I am pushed in and out, up and down, all around and reajusted from time to time. I hate being what I am, though this girl really needs me sometimes. I and her are discusted by the gross, gooey, smelling stuff that comes out of her unexposed parts, but I guess that's just a part of life.
I am a Que-Tip, and not the fancy kind with a brightly colored body either, just the plain pale kind that is made from rolled paper. I'm also decorated with fluffy white cotton balls on each side of my thin body for cleaning ear wax and anything else on a human body that may be unwanted.

Important Event (In my life).
Important Event (In my life).
When I was in grade six, me and my three friends were running down the big concrete steps at George Pringle Elementary School so that we could make our way down to the gym to see the floor hockey games. When we were halfway down the stairs I lost my balance and fell to land in an awkward position, with my foot twisted and my leg bent. My friends were right behind me and seen that I fell so they helped me up. There was blood on my knee, a rip in my pants, and a pounding feeling from my foot to my ankle. I tried to put my foot down to see if I could walk on it, but instead I made the feeling worse, an agonizing pain hit the ball of my foot. It was the most pain I've had in my life, even though I'm a very clumsy girl.
We made our way up to the top of the stairs, me hopping on my non-injured foot, and my friends supporting me so I couldn't fall, again. When we got inside I sat on the couch in the office to find my foot swelled and purple, it was pretty ugly. I got an ice pack wrapped around my foot right away and disliked the feel of icy-ness on my numb foot, but it was the only thing that would get the swelling to go down. I called my mom when my foot settled and asked her to come pick me up form school early, because of my injury.
I struggled into my mom's car and we drove off to get an x-ray to see what the problem was. When the lady shifted my foot all around to get the right pictures of my bones was the hard part. She wasn't gentle, and she had monstrous hands that couldn't help themselves, I think that they could of injured me more. When she was done the x-ray she showed the pictures and told me and my mother that I had sprained my foot and ankle and pulled some attendants.
When we got back to my house I crawled up the stairs and hopped to the couch so I could . The issue was that the Red Cross wasn't open for three days so I could get my crutches and I had to roll everywhere on my black wheeled chair to get around the house, which was an annoyance.
When I finally got my crutches, I had to use them for about a month, which meant no activity on my feet. Now I hope I'm not so clumsy to get another injury like that again.

Fish Falling From The Sky.
Fish Falling From The Sky.
Once upon a time there was a boy named Antonio who lived in the town of Astrolapockalus. Antonio was a very odd child who had nothing in common with anyone in his own school...or anyone his age. He was one of those kids who got made fun of for liking something no one else did, and it was science, that was all he had, no friends, a really poor family, and a lot of spare time. Antonio was like a child protugue though, he was the smartest kid in his whole town, which, could be a good thing.
Kids his age hated science, it was Antonio's favourite subject. At recess kids would play outside, Antonio would be in the corner reading high grade level science textbooks. When kids were having fun on weekends, Antonio would be in his bedroom making new science experiments.

But, there's also another thing you need to know about Antonio, he was obsessed with fish. He liked the texture, the smell, the looks, and espicially the taste, whether it was smoked, barbequed, baked or boiled. It was his favourite thing in the whole world and we figure, that's the reason he's so smart. But the memory of his precious fish was fading away slowly, because the problem is, when Antonio's family started spending their money on his experiments that meant so much to him, they became broke, and couldn't afford their tasty fish anymore.
After school one Friday, Antonio went home and had an idea, an idea for an expirement to make fish fall out of the town's always cloudy sky. It would be his biggest project, and he wanted to do it more then everything.

Scared Young Child.
Scared Young Child.
Once upon a time not so long ago, there was a young boy named Terran in grade seven who attended a middle school named Glenrosa. He was a lonely and depressed teen that didn't make many friends for specific reasons.
Terran used to have a lot of friends until one Halloween when he was trick-or-treating with a big group of his friends. They were all out having fun without any adult super vision, going around from door to door to get candy for their sweet teeth. While they were doing so, they came across a group of older kids who were all dressed up in terrifying costumes; Terran noticed the scariest one immediately. He had blood all over his face and dark make-up around his eyes as if he just came out of the dead. Terran didn't realize that it was his older brother’s friend. The older teen was acting foolish and came close to Terran's small face as if he were going to stick his whole mouth around him to eat. Terran's friends laughed and knew it had to be a joke. Terran screamed as loud as he could so that his whole road could hear. He ran home as fast as he could with nothing but the scary face on his mind. He ran through his front door, through his hallway and into the bathroom to look at his self in the mirror, he had nasty smelling blood all over his pale face and didn't even think of it as being fake. He cried all night and couldn’t stop thinking about the face that haunted him ever since the "accident".
A year had gone by and Terran was still friendless and laughed at, which made the memory harder to forget. Ever since then Terran had Hematophobia, the fear of blood. When Terran was on a scene that included blood he would turn purple and have an empty feeling in his stomach. He would run as far away as possible hoping not to barf. He hated Halloween from then on and promised himself that he would never go trick-or-treating again, in fear that another stranger would come face to face with him and drip their blood onto his now bony face.
He'd never been so cautious of anything in his life. The slightest noise or touch made him jump. Even when he'd got tapped on the shoulder he'd think that blood would come gushing out of a whole that appeared in his skin.
It was Halloween Day at school when Terran showed up, and he completely forgot about the fact that there were going to be people dressing up in different costumes, hopefully none would be too scary. He was pretty aware that things would be popping up in his face and saying "boo" to scare him. A lot of people knew about him being scared of Halloween, because it got around the school quickly.
As the day went on Terran was being pranked all day, until he got used to it. He didn't really care anymore when his classmates "booed" him. He would just giggle and say nice one. He had a brave feeling now and didn't really notice all the freaky costumes running around the school. He wasn't scared anymore, and his old friends could tell, so they started being friendlier to Terran, and he could tell that they were starting to become friends again; they no longer thought he was a lame wimp.

Funny Burger King Video.
Funny Burger King Video.
In this funny Burger King commercial, there are two costumers still left in the store. One is sitting down at a table staring at the “Triple Whopper” and the other one just unwrapped the new delicious burger. The man left his burger on the table so he could go get a drink from the vending machine. The hungry one who was staring at the Whopper slithered his tongue and dropped straight to the floor to start moving rapidly like a snake towards the fresh burger. When he got up it was exactly like a snake, without arms or legs. He started eyeing done the patty and opened his mouth as wide a child’s head. He put his mouth slowly around the whole juicy burger and only took a couple bites before he swallowed it whole.
The man who got his drink turned around to see that his burger was gone and went down the snake-man’s throat. He was very confused and angry at the snake-man and rubbed his hands down his face in agony as if he were saying “NOO MY WHOPPER!” The snake-man got up to do crazy kung-fu and stared at his blank hand until a new Triple Whopper appeared.

Fourteen, Sixteen, or Eighteen?
Fourteen, Sixteen, or Eighteen?
Is driving at the age sixteen appropriate to start driving? Or should the legal age be changed to fourteen or eighteen?
In my opinion, driving at the age fourteen is too young. Your still a kid that hasn't fully grown into a mature teenager yet. Imagine yourself driving at the age fourteen, there would be too many people getting into too many accidents that could cause severe injuries and possible deaths.
When your driving at the age eigtheen your probably mature enough to know the rights and wrongs of driving a car and how to deal with them. It's a good age to drive, but by the time your done with a Learners Permitt and you don't have to drive with an authorized adult driver, you'd already be in your twenties, and that's too old to be drving with an adult. Nobody that age would want their parents to be driving them around everywhere.
I think that sixteen is the right age to drive. Your a teenager at that age and have learned maturity and how to act while driving a vehicle. You get your learners, and then slowly move on to an authorized driver. By the time your eighteen, you'll be driving around without worrying about embarrassment of driving with adults!

If I Were In Charge of the World.
If I Were In Charge of the World.
If I were in charge of the world, I would stop homelessness because I hate seeing people who live on the streets that beg for money so they could get a meal. To do this I would help the homeless make the right choices to not spend all their money on drugs and alcohol and to become a better person. I'd also get them cleaned up and give them a place to stay by building four different types of shelters. One for children, one for women, one for men and one for families.
I'd get teachers and volunteers to help make courses and classes about cleaning up their lives and moving on to a healthier and safer living. I would start by teaching them the wrongs of drugs and alcohol and move on to helping them get job's so they can help support themselves and their families. Once they get a job they would still be able to stay at one of my shelters, but only until they could afford there own place to live.

The Cookie.
The Cookie.
As I stared at the soft, moist and fresh baked chocolate chip cookie I held, I started drooling in my dry mouth. The delicious desert was round and lush with a crisp golden color and had an aroma of sugar sweet chocolate. It smelled like heaven. The chocolate chips were melting in the cookies warmness just like I was, and when I took the first bite, it felt like a party was taking place in my mouth. It was the best cookie I ever tasted, my tongue all tingly, the crunch in my warm and wet mouth, the texture was perfect.

Adding Emotion.
Adding Emotion.
1. The boy was sad when he heard that his cat died.
The lonely young child was very depressed as he was lying sleepily on his small bed, with his head stuck in his feather pillow he started weeping because of the sad news he heard about the loss of his beloved little kitten who was his real best friend. He kicked his legs against the wooden head board and screamed. He cried for another two hours until he finally fell asleep with tears still rolling down his damp round cheeks. For the next week the boy was too melancholy to do anything but watch T.V., he was even too sorrowful to play with his joyful friends. Everytime he came across a T.V. channel with a cat on it, he would stop whatever he was doing to look back at his memories with his best friend.
2. The baseball pitcher was happy when he struck out the last batter.
The lightening speed of the ball was far too much for the scronny batter on the oponing team to handle. The muscular pitcher struck him out on the last pitch and started screaming as he was full of excitement and joy. He jumped up to scream to his teamates who started galloping quickly towards him. They lifted him up carefully and threw him up five feet in the air. Everyone but the other team were chanting and screaming his name. That day was the day this pitcher would remeber forever, the day he won his trophy.
3. The old man was afraid when he heard the smoke alarm go off.
The wrinkled old man was completely terrified when he barely heard that the smoke alarm in his house went off. He stumbled slowly on his cane to the kitchen to get his wife who was baking yummy chocolate chip cookies. He told her they had to get out of their trailer now before they were burnt down with all their belongings. They started arguing like most old people and it took them about five minutes before the lady could get her husband to shut up. When he finally stopped talking she told him that it was only because the oven got too hot and that the the smoke alarm was very sensitive. So they took a rag and waved it up in the air under the smoke alarm until it stopped beaping. After that, they ate there delicious cookies and went on with their happy little lives.
4. The baby was angry when her brother took away her toy.
The newborn baby was very frustrated when her selfish older brother took away her only play toy. She screamed and wiggled as big tears ran down her plump little face. She tried crawling to catch up to him but her little baby legs wouldn't move quick enough. She weeped and weeped until her mother came to see what was wrong. She took the toy away from her son and gave the loud baby her noisy toy back. She punished the boy for being a nuscence and the baby played happily for the rest of the day until she fell asleep of tiredness.

My School.
My School.
This is a place I have to come every day to get an education in my life. The things I see, hear, feel, smell and taste every day can be just normal, interesting, important and even unusual.
When I walk around this school I mostly see children in the halways, sitting on the stone steps and by their lockers talking and walking, I see people buying from the vending machines and throwing stuff into the garbage cans. I see posters, promoting things like the bake sale and pink day, I also see my friends and teachers. There are important things like classrooms that we learn in, the roof we get taught under and the stairs we use to get to different floors.
Some can hear the shouts in the hallway from the loud voices. Everyone in the school can hear the teachers announcing something important over the intercom. Kids chat and chat none stop, people run through the hallways, loud and quiet little feet walk by. Money dangles from the telephone booths and vending machines, papers flip, turn and get crumpled. This school I go to is a very noisy place.
When I feel people push past me in a hurry to get to their classes in time, I feel squished and tiny, especially when their taller. This place I come to feels gigantic to me, but yet I feel comfortable and used to this place I've come to know well.
I can smell sweat from kids who just had P.E. and body oder from those who aren't cleanly enough. When I step outside I smell the freshness of the air. Some teachers and kids wear a certain cologne or perfume that vary from fruity to musky and deodorant or shampoo that you can smell off their bodies.
When I taste something at this school I can taste the fresh air, the food that comes out of the vending machine, and icy water pouring down my throat from the fountain. A lot of the time the things I taste are the things I smell by inhaling the scent through my mouth.
New Moon Trailer.
New Moon Trailer.
In this sequel to Twilight, New Moon, Bella gets trapped in a triangle of love with Edward Cullen and Jacob Black. Edward decides that he has to leave the love of his life to insure her safety. In the movie Twilight, Bella was the one thing that made Edward’s life complete and now he has to push her away, which makes Bella feel lonely and depressed.
It was Bella’s birthday on September the thirteenth and the one thing she asks for is a kiss from Edward. After their moments together Edward drove himself an Bella back to his house to celebrate with Edward’s family and open presents. As Bella was opening a card, she cut her finger on an envelope and started to bleed. The weakest one of the Cullen's, Jasper, craved her blood and jumped forward to attack her; Edward had to push him away to make sure he wouldn’t hurt her.
When Edward left Bella, she felt almost as if she were paralyzed. She slept in the forest for a night and was found by a search party then next day.
Bella was hiking through the forest to bring back memories of her loved one, who's name hurt to much to say, when she came across Laurent, another vampire Bella once knew. He said he would protect Bella, but also said that it would be too hard to resist her. Laurent was just about to fiest on Bella when a pack of five wolves came his way to kill him.
Bella soon found out that Jacob Black, her good friend and his "Cult" were all part of a tribe that were all werewolves’, that’s why the natives and vampires hated each other and made a treaty for the ones who only fed on animal blood, the wolfs killed the others. But Bella still seemed to love Jacob and came to fall in love with him too.
Jake was driving Bella home one day when he found out one of the Cullen's was back to talk to Bella, Bella only hoped it wouldn't be Edward, for it would hurt her too much. When she got inside the house she found Alice sitting on a chair waiting for her to arrive. She had news about Edward and how he was going to the Voltaire to get killed cause he thought Bella Swan was dead. After Bella heard about this, she went to follow him with Alice to stop his death.
I think the trailer was very good and descriptive.
